The vigorous growing Lady Margaret Passiflora produces absolutely stunning blooms that are attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds.
This plant performs best when grown in full sun conditions, and given something sturdy to climb. If provided with an adequate trellis or arbor this plant will reach heights between 6 and 12 feet, depending on the growing conditions. The vigorous growth does mean that this variety should be fed regularly, especially during the hot summer months.
Unfortunately, this plant is not hardy in Michigan. It can, however, be brought inside for the winter, provided it is provided with good Southern exposure.
